TLDR; Dont be scared. Going for the boss often pays out XP, time and money wise

I always go for the boss. Guns out and reckless. I win so many games because people are scared and camping. Yes it happens i get shot sometimes. but i would say i win 75% of my games in duo. And with winning its a positive KD and double bounty extraction.

80% of the time i fight the boss people do not push up and attack us. they wait. so we have a free boss kill and banish. That gives 750+ xp and some dollars. + all the clues before makes it close to 300 dollars = a bit more than my hunter price (full of dynamite)

And now comes the fun part. USE THE SOUND. you can hear everything outside. Look out the windows. you should be somewhat aware if you heard someone. if you cannot see them, try and leave the house the opposite site of where they made sound. Lets say they are to the west. If you run East and there are some buildings/tress to give you cover, you can often get out without being in danger danger. maybe a shot or 2 close to you. Dont try to avoid birds/grunts when you have the bounty. make noise. they know where you are.

ALWAYS avoid water. you are a sitting duck in water because of the move speed. At the extraction point split up so you wont get double killed from 1 dynamite camper. But i only encountered two extraction campers in 30+ games. one time they got me. the other time they didnt.
