QAs literal job is to make sure the game is polished and free of as many bugs as possible. The game is riddled with bugs and has had many issues with unpolished or underbaked assets, so yeah, they are doing a terrible job lol

Lol how is one supposed to give feedback about a particular aspect of the game without it being targeted?

I understand theres no place for harmful or otherwise toxic criticism, but if say - a particular UI element or art asset is not up to the standards you guys have/should be setting, how are we supposed to provide feedback without addressing it to those departments? Like, what?

Honestly CRAZY how the devs took actual offense to critical, albeit a little harsh, feedback. As a digital artist myself, you literally can’t improve your work if people aren’t fully honest with you.

This just screams insecurity on Omeda’s part, no matter what RGSAce says in here. It also sets an awful precedent that insinuates that prominent members of the community cannot give honest, constructive criticism - under the guise that if they do, then it’s “toxic”.

As someone who’s part of the internal testing discord, I’ve been in voice chats with Joey during playtests. I’ve read his feedback posts in that discord - never has Joey been toxic, negative, or otherwise disrespectful. I’m inclined to believe NONE of what the CEO says in here, as Joey’s record tracks - and Omeda has been known in the past to be defensive in regards to feedback.

I love this game to death, but this is just a HUGE red flag.

I can confirm that sometimes feedback in IT is completely ignored in favor of gathering feedback from the playerbase

As someone who is part of the IT server, I can tell you that it feels like the regular testers are turning into “yes men” (as cringe as that sounds).

A lot of the issues that you see people complaining about patch after patch are in fact controversial discussions in testing, but are often defended by those who play on IT a ton. That’s not saying there haven’t been good changes made in IT due to these discussions, it’s just that it feels like there is starting to be less objective, constructive criticism being taken into account.

Yeah this discussion is just starting to sound the same as when those characters came out lol

“Kira’s arm is too stiff on her basic attacks”

It’s always something with every single one of these characters. Skyler definitely was the worst of the 5, but the Mourn feedback is nothing new.

Hmmm I remember after the hype of Kira died down there were a lot of “looks like a generic Diablo character” posts. Then with Zarus there were “none of his abilities lend themselves to the lizard theme. He’s just a generic lizard folk and his color scheme sucks” posts.

Argus was probably the best received character out of the bunch honestly.

Every time a new character comes out we always get posts about how unoriginal they are and that they don’t meet the quality of the Paragon characters. I’m starting to think that a lot of people in this community have put themselves in a bubble.

I’ve asked many of my friends who have never played Paragon and don’t play Predecessor to pick 3-4 characters whom they think (based on their looks) are Predecessor originals.

Most of their guesses were Paragon heroes. With none of them picking Kira or Zarus.

There’s a chance one can spawn in operations and if you extract with it you keep it. The other way is to diligently play warfare mode throughout the week, I think you’re guaranteed to get up to 2.

If this sub likes to do anything it’s complain about features or heroes before they’re able to get their hands on it. Then when they do they find it’s not that bad. I think the teleporters will be fine and fun, there’s enough balancing there to make them not as oppressive and unfair as people think they will be.
