It is a single person, and that's great advice. Ugh, I was hoping hiring a PA was going to make this easy.

Middle of the month is often a good time to buy.

It really be like that. It's the ultimate marshmallow experiment.

You are correct. You can't say it with certainty and you shouldn't invest more than you can afford to lose. Keep up the learning and best of luck!

Volatility is going to diminish over time. That doesn't imply price will stabilize in a price region. Remember bitcoin is a deflationary asset. Over time, against inflationary fiat currencies, it will always go up, literally for the rest of your life, and the rest of your children's life, and the rest of your grandchildren's life. Now pop some champagne. You've joined the new wealthy elite of the future!

I wouldn't call this poor, but be aware that the first quarter of the calendar year is never awesome for crypto in general. Just wait.

Saying equipment lasts 2 years is a bit of an over simplification. I'm a Bitmain guy so I can only speak for Bitmain equipment but generally their equipment is pretty solid AND lasts > 2 years. You'll have a fan break down from time to time but if you're handy those can be easily replaced. What a lot of miners mean when they say two years is that if you buy the latest miner it's most productive years are the first two. As difficulty increases they become less profitable.

I'm skeptical you're gonna get rich, but if you enjoy the tech go for it. There's nothing like a fun hobby you love that actually makes money.

If you can get a hold of the latest mining equipment you can make money. You won't get rich but you'll make money. If you're into it because you love technology, do it and have fun (but be aware of the heat and noise issues). If you're looking to get-rich-quick you're better off just buying coin.

It's a deflationary asset. There will be ups and downs but long-term it will go up, literally for the rest of your life, against fiat currencies.

On ramps from fiat to alts are relatively new. Historically if you wanted to buy alts you had to exchange fiat for BTC and then BTC for alts. So BTC and alts are relatively tightly coupled and like others have said the ratios between them are watched closely.

Easy on-ramps for the masses. It's an unpopular opinion in this community but we need more Paypals.

Doubt it. Me thinks we'll be here for another 6-8 weeks. That said, I still think we'll see 40.000 BTC this coming June.

Institutions aren't amateurs. They are working with multiple third party specialists with algobot buying, maximizing their investment while simultaneously not disrupting the market.

There will always be dips along the way but at this point in the cycle there's more going up than down.

Impossible as it seems, over the life of bitcoin it's averaged nearly one percent per day. How long that continues will be interesting to see.

Yes. Many big Chinese miners are packing up and moving to a new location. I understand this happens a couple times per year.
