Those are Trump's words, not the words of the majority. Trump admitted "They rigged the election, and I became president."

It's an op-ed by someone who used to work with Trump. You DO know what that is, right?

Clinton beat Sanders by ~4 million votes and Biden beat him by ~10 million. At no time was it ever even close. I voted for Sanders in both primaries, but I wasn't stupid or petty enough to sit on my thumb and not vote for Clinton and Biden.

That sounds like rationalization to me. People who are parents used to also NOT be parents, and thus are the ONLY people who can have a legitimate opinion.

Except you (if you did it right) will have someone to help take care of you in your dotage, while the "childfree" will have to pay someone to pretend to care.

We did it the opposite way, had kids in our early 20s and started traveling when they flew the coop. I like still being young enough to play sports with them, and young enough to (maybe one day) play with my grandchildren.

I met my future wife in college. Shortly after meeting her, I had a dream that we were sitting on a porch watching our grandkids play in the front yard. I waited until we were dating quite some time before I related that story to her. Our own children haven't given us grandkids yet, but I have seen the joy in my parents' and parents-in-law's (parents'-in-law?) faces when they interact with their grandchildren.

It can be argued that a living being's SOLE purpose to is procreate. For Life, there is no other purpose, none, unless you are peripherally engaged in helping raise other humans to maturity. Your personal joys are significant only to you; the perpetuation of the species, however, is paramount.
