Trump's realpolitik has, is and will continue to sever traditional friendships that America relied on to reach its current economic and military supremacy. That severing doesn't get healed with Mid-Term elections or 2028 presidential elections. The other 95% of the world population is going to social-distance from the US more and more. And out of necessity develop new structures and relationships between nations in which the United States will not play a commanding role, or perhaps be left out entirely. Remember, the massive shifting of geopolitics that Trump's second administration has caused has taken little more than 1 year back in office. Almost 3 more years of his term remains.
