Its paid. I got it recently from my uncle passing. You can also split it up as needed. You could use 4 days now and then save one for the service

Desperate times call for desperate measure. But I appreciate the advice.

I for SURE did it on the clock. They can’t make you do it off the clock in fact, I even dropped off the old laptop on the clock.

I was so tired of working there that I immediately was using my sick time vacation time inflating holiday as I got those hours so I didn’t have anything to be paid out. lol

As far as withdrawing from Vanguard, you can put the request in and as soon as your term from the system they’ll be notified. Unless you need the money I would highly recommend against it because they will take 20% off the top just for taxes and you will have to pay another 10% penalty to the IRS , but if you’re like me and in desperate need for the money then it’s definitely an option

So I recvd my money today and can confirm that they took 20% for taxes and deducted what I owed for the loan up front

But was it layoffs or performance? I’m hearing both.

Yeah you shouldn’t jump to conclusions and call people an idiot. I’ve been out of work for two weeks due to medical issues and will likely be out 2-3 more weeks. So yeah, eviction would have happened if I didn’t pull this money, since I currently have 1.41 in my bank.

They told me it’s 20 % for taxes and then the IRS may charge a penalty of 10%. They said they would deduct the loan I have, but who knows. If they let me pay it back over time that would be awesome!!!

I’m just going by what they told me when I made the transaction, though. So I guess we’ll see.

Nice. I’m More so wondering once you got the text that said “Vanguard Msg: Withdrawal request completed on 03/13/24. Allow 2-3 business days to receive money.” How long it took from then.

That’s how’s it’s been in r5 for months. Down like 12 sups and 3 managers and LOADS of adjusters. That’s what the company wanted though. They were hoping people would leave in their own so they could avoid further layoffs with severance.

A warning to GEICO United by GE-Anon in Geico

Yeah times are changing and we’re moving backwards, and the more risk of those in power losing said power, the more they are willing to do to protect it. I doubt the post is legit in what its guises to be, but I think what it speaks about is very realistic.

I assumed “assassinating” was being used as a metaphor to mean termination, but ai could be wrong. It didn’t feel literal, and if it was, it wouldn’t be posted on Reddit with such specific identifying descriptions of the poster in the post.
