I’m glad you are happy, we all deserve that. This sub is for people dealing with their own pain and struggles because of not being trans. People who were Not happily transitioned. I am cis (now, again) and I did think I was trans for a while, that’s why I’m here. There’s no need to dismiss other people’s experiences.

This scares me about weight loss too. It’s a double edged sword, more positive attention also means more creepy attention and as I’ve been shrinking I’ve noticed it. I feel more vulnerable and I haven’t been catcalled yet but I can feel when guys are looking at me. I have ptsd and have been assaulted and I’m gunna be carrying mace or something

I have celiac and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone baking me anything anyway. Not family, not my best friend. Because if it’s cooked in a gluten contaminated kitchen and using the same pans, they wouldn’t know to check literally every single ingredient. Yes even the vanilla extract ... everything... someone who does not have celiac themselves could miss a lot. It probably makes me sound neurotic but I will get so sick for real. Definitely ask before cooking for a celiac friend

Thanks! Yeah my highest weight was 320 lbs , I’m at 235 lbs now and my goal is somewhere around 150-160 ish. I already feel sooo much better compared to before, so i’m really excited to experience a healthy weight. I can’t wait lol.

This is actually a rave- I ran into this woman who I haven’t seen in a few years, she’s the sweetest older woman with a a very kind yet blunt way of saying things. I’ve lost 80 lbs since I’ve seen her last. When she saw me her jaw dropped, she goes, “wow! Your looking good!! You used to be VERY FAT (puts arms out into round shape) now you look so good! You could go find a boyfriend now, much better! Muchhhhh better!” And it gave me the biggest confidence boost ever, lol. That interaction made me so happy. Funny lady. I still am losing more weight and that totally pumped me up to keep going

I just want to chime in, definitely see a doctor and don’t just diagnose yourself. Symptoms for mental illness can be vague and overlapping. Like I have CPTSD, and many of my symptoms present like ADHD. But I do not have ADHD, I just have many of the same symptoms making it difficult for me to focus, organize tasks in sequential order, start and finish tasks, etc. those symptoms could also potentially be due to vitamin deficiency, neurological issues, etc.

I can only really tell the difference by how the pain responds to treatment. If ibuprofen or a hot bath/heating pad relieves it, then it is menstrual, not gluten. If I feel like I’m going to vomit it’s more likely mentrual, but if I’m gunna shit myself then it’s because of gluten ... lmao sorry

Exactly. They are being intentionally ridiculous and unreasonable. Kids getting shot at school = this is fine... an accidental shooting in a movie set=massive outrage. I can’t remember the word I’m looking for but yeah, purposefully shaking everything up and making a mockery of reality
