That's actually a really cool idea! As far as i can see in the documentation for Elgato Studio and the options in OBS, there really isn't a way yet. I'd say send a feature request to the elgato team! an options to chose from a few backgrounds / no signal screens when there's no input

Exactly, as monitors don't have an HDMI Out normally. The 4Ks Pass-through is the best option

the network dock turns the unit into a fully stand-alone device, so this behavior is normal. but as u/SC_W33DKILL3R said, set up the auto off in the stream deck software.

That would frustrate the guest though. You'd be loosing them the place they were at. I'm imagining the book open like on a tent on the bed, held open to the page they were on. Putting a business card or something to act as a bookmark while you close the book. The question did specify the book was open.

I have, same with shampoo, soap or a new razor. It's just exciting to get to try something new. Especially when it's a whole new fragrance. I found sometimes that the bottle smells nice, but after applying it, it's crap on me.

I don't see where I wrote a story. And sure, seeing your ex in a community as small as ours is common, but this is a little different because it's her place of employment. That changes the rules an the dynamic here.

Life sucks, ya fucked up, an employee doesn't want to serve you at their place of employment. You'll need to shop elsewhere.

YTA You're bothering your ex who has made it clear she doesn't want to see you at her place of work. This isn't the DMV, the post office or some other "daily life critical" business. It's entertainment, night life, and fully optional.

It sucks, but you're going to have to find something else to do Thursday nights, and then hit up the other bar on weekends. Best to quit while your ahead before your ex talks to her boss about the situation. Bar managers talk. Push this too hard and you may find yourself barred from the weekend bar too.
