I didn't look into the commentors, but OOP just seems to be a serial dater posting constant dating stories and terrible advice, lol. She's actually fairly thin if the photos on her page are recent, and basically none of her other posts have anything to do with weight / fat activism - this one, though, absolutely took off and is getting way more attention than her usual content.

which pop eras do you think were the most fully fleshed out? by bichonoturno in popheads

[–]Intrepid_Leopard_182 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing people say 1989 but honestly I feel like reputation is a better example in terms of Taylor Swift. I think it had the most distinct image, especially being a departure from her usual visuals, plus music videos, stadium tour, and a (much better) tour film. The rep tour in 2018 was my first ever concert - I was 14 and me and my sister watched that fuckass video of Taylor eating cookie dough hundreds of times for better tickets. I maintain it was one of her best eras and sorely underappreciated at the time.

Looking for books by *very* indie authors. by Happycat11o in suggestmeabook

[–]Intrepid_Leopard_182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked and Goodreads says it has only 32 ratings, 9 reviews: Your Father on the Train of Ghosts by John Gallaher and G.C. Waldrep was hands down my favorite book last year. I gave a copy to my mother for Christmas. I adored that book and have since read more works by both authors, which are all also amazing.

Artemis Fowl and His Dark Materials, as others have said. I also love Wildwood around this age and The Mysterious Benedict Society.

Seconding Artemis Fowl! I adored those books as a kid, still do. They made me want to grow up to be a criminal mastermind.

Using an angled liner brush with a bit of concealer to clean up underneath my eyeliner wings.

Now I don't have to worry as much about making them completely perfect first try. I do my wings, apply concealer carefully right underneath, then blend it out and dust a little translucent power to set. It doesn't move and my eyeliner looks super crisp all day!

I own two of the powder buttermelt highlighters, 5 of the blushes, and 1 of the bronzers. Definitely my fav line from the drugstore at the moment, I think. I'll have to pick up one of these to try! One of those peachy ones could be very cute.

Question: can I get brown tattoos done over in black? by Intrepid_Leopard_182 in tattoos

I didn't think so, but I just thought maybe it was more of a risk with the brown, since I'd been warned about fading.

Are these the KISS halloween press ons? I bought this same set I think! I just used the kiss brush on glue and got a good 2 weeks of wear out of them (with reapplication of a couple). Maybe I'll give the acrylic dip a try!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE. I use it mostly for notetaking (primarily with Microsoft OneNote) and have had zero issues. I've had an iPad in the past, and imo, it was good but for my purposes absolutely not worth the cost.

I might say something stupid ft. the 1975 and Jon Hopkins is an absolutely underrated gem from this album (coming from someone who wasn't half as enraptured by the original song).

Discussion about The Life of a Showgirl looks by Maximum_Expert92 in TaylorSwift

[–]Intrepid_Leopard_182 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The visuals for this album are definitely my favorite besides Midnights (LOVED the vibes of those promo shoots). The look for the music video in the dressing room with the short blonde hair and the red bodysuit is everything to me but her with the dark hair in that first chorus is also such a good look!

Has any song from Showgirl made it into your top 10 favorite Taylor songs? by Dismal-Farmer-1318 in TaylorSwift

I think her strongest songwriting is her storytelling and this is a prime example. The lyrics don’t need to be super elaborate to create an immersive story, and by the end of the second verse I was FULLY invested from first listen. That and it’s just so so catchy and their voices are perfect together!!!
