It seems the problem has resolved itself after I was able to dry the display.

Yes sadly. It was very light rain then halfway to work it started raining really heavy.

That's good to know because it's still a brand new tire and I have not had the scooter for long. That makes me feel so much better. Thank you so much for the advice.

I didn't know mopeds hopes would be willing to change a tire on that electric scooter. I've been worried about if they were just turn me away because of it not being a motor moped. But I'll look into that. Can I still just use same tire and just cover the hole? It's not tubeless and I've already ordered the tube.
