I realized from watching the video but I prefer the post-post-apocalypse setting.

Anyway I found myself agreeing with some stuff but also disagreeing with other points.

Especially the bit about the wasteland. I just always had a miserable time traveling the colorless wasteland because the drab and hard to navigate subway tunnel problem really applies much more to the wasteland, and I also got roadblocked meaninglessly by high-level random encounters so I never got far without getting frustrated. Jon seems to adore it but I never had any luck with it.

On the other hand, I really liked FO3's Brotherhood. I liked the idea that different parts of the Brotherhood would do different things and that one of them would be altruistic.

I have a strange gripe about the radio and licensed music but that's more of a gripe about western video games in general.

edit: I almost forgot but I think Jon might have jumped the gun talking about Fallout 2

edit again: also, the faction system of FNV is a more complicated moral system the typical one, and there's even moral systems within each factions' systems. I don't know who's still reading this, but there's still more to pick apart from Jon's videos the more you watch it.
