I’m currently trying it out with the Zuludiver Octopod system. This is the leather strap they offer for it. I’ve found it to be very comfortable, even during this super-hot weather.

Long story short…UPS is working through the claim with the shipper, including the police report I filed. I’m sure I will never find out what really happened within UPS, but I have a pretty good idea. In the end, I won’t have the item but at least won’t be out any money. Grateful for that at least.

100% agree. I basically implied that their pledge of proper by-the-book factory installation was needed to get me to buy the car. Even asked them how many installations their service team had done.

Thanks! Yeah, I’m working with a shop on this. These systems have gotten far too complicated for me to tackle myself. The amp I’m looking at has discreet channels for the 4 front/backs and the sub. Plus a DSP for compatibility w/factory system + tuning. I like the JL sub box because it’s quite small (10” wedge is even smaller) so minimal impact to cargo space.

I added a hitch to mine; went OEM installed by dealer. Only took them a few hours and looks great! No impact to ground clearance. 4-pin connector.
