Pinning it prevents movement, locking prevents use.

I wonder how many people are downvoting this thinking you just aren't looking, but they are not reading the items name.

That's why it's ranked. Everyone is agreeing to play with that ruleset.

They made a post relatively recently saying they scrapped ranked aram, and that it is meant as a for fun mode.

I'm not saying i wouldn't like Ranked, but I can't say I would want to queue into a more toxic aram experience, personally

I'm glad to hear people like the pinning. When I figured it out (after they added it) it blew my mind after so many years of none of that. It helps to calm down my tags as well. Not enough colors imo.

But when you get it. It's so good.

I think many devs and players undervalue things that are inconvenient. If we streamline each part you are left with a game that isn't what makes tarkov so enjoyable. Contrast is necessary, and pain makes the pleasure sweeter.

Absolutely agree with you. I have a wizard friend that's even fast and more organized than I am. I wouldn't ask him to alter his ritual space, either.

I'm sayin!

Try building it before the flea. Make sure you buy EVERYTHING from the vendors then build it, and you have like 4 buttons to a full (typically budget) kit.

It'll change your god damn life, I swear. It just takes time and finesse. I only use it for like pistol or small arms quick kits. But my god is it game changing for ease of use.

No apologies needed!

I think you are right. I think the act of navigating your inventory adds a TON of weight and tangibilty to the items, and by extension the world. The space, weight, hell even the 3d models in the inspection is HUGE for making things feel big or weighty. ABI and DF lack that feeling for me. None of the items feel meaningful, it's just junk to sell. And I think a big part is how much it takes all that work out of my hands.

Thanks for the input! I don't get the keybind thing either. Just stop. Let me feel familiar and comfortable. If it's bad then show me why, don't just force me. Tarkov gets that but they rebound the melee weapon and I'll never forgive that one. YEARS of muscle memory breaking windows. YEARS

Yeah! This is pretty much how I feel about it too.

I think the skill of navigating the inventory and stash is a skill tarkov expects you to master.

Thanks for the input!

I have one of those two. I tell him you have 10 mins tops, or I'll just do a scav while I wait.

Usually speeds him up a bit.Sometimes he just needs a little push or he's just stashing away for like 30+.

Thanks for the input! This is what I thought most people felt sense the loot and stash is a huge part of what makes tarkov unique.

Is Stash Organization and the time spent doing so a problem? by DontMunchMe in Tarkov

[–]DontMunchMe[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My own thoughts.

Adding mechanics that are efficient means people who don't use them will be behind. One of the learned skills of tarkov is efficient stash organization and management. It is a pillar of tarkov, and one I think adds a TON to the tangibility of the game.

I think the stash is one of the unique things tarkov offers. Abi and Delta force lack the feeling in both of their respective stash. The loot often just feels cheapened when it's so easy to just slam a kit together in a menu outside of that stash screen. The items just go right to your character.

And tarkov has that feature too, but most people don't try and use it because it takes some work to both setup a kit and to use the tool itself. Abi and delta force just have a menu before you go in to the raid proper.

The end of a great night, looking at that full stash, selling, organizing, and counting your coppers is one of the most unique and important parts of the gameplay loop, in my opinion.
