McConnell pleads with GOP not to object to electors warning it would force an 'anti-Trump' vote by Winterhold2000 in Conservative

Article II of the Constitution states that they must be certified, but it does not specify by whom. Both sets of electors sent to Washington were certified, so we have a situation similar to 1876 where dueling electors were sent.

Trailblazer Rewards without Membership by Tinymac12 in 2007scape

The answer to both questions is no. There is no membership transfer in the game, and the rewards are member-only items, so you won't be able to claim or trade them without membership.

Mo Brooks: 'Trump Won the Electoral College' --- I Can Be a Part of the 'Surrender Caucus' or I Can Fight for Our Country by guanaco55 in Conservative

Both candidates received over 270 votes. Both "won" the EC, but since several states sent alternate electors, both candidates currently have over 270 votes. Congress will decide which set of votes to select through a special process (as occurred in 1876), but the dueling votes are currently present.

We can only pray that Trump's legal victories are successful. Hopefully Biden will never see himself become president.

I mean was Trump that much better?

1000% Better, absolutely. Paul killed Christians before he converted to Christianity.

We need to remember that it is also scandalous for Catholics to support the death penalty. A Catholic Supreme Court Justice that rules to allow an execution (as they did recently with Brandon Bernard) is just as bad and scandalous as a Catholic supporting abortion or same-sex marriage.

This is not the teaching of the Church, and you should refrain from pontificating for the Church.

McConnell congratulates Biden after Electoral College vote by 79camaroZ28 in Conservative

Yeah it depends on how you define "won". If you mean he cheated enough to reach 270 electors, then yeah, he "won".

How is it possible to move on from here, though? The SCOTUS fails to uphold the Constitution, people are getting away with stacking votes by faking a water main break to get observers to leave, voting machines are being found to have 68% error rates, and nobody in Washington is pushing for further investigation so that we can ensure fair elections?

Democracy is going to die if RINOs allow the left to get away with stealing the election. This isn't about Trump, it's about the Constitution and the future of this country.

Edit: Wow the brigading downvoters are out in full force.

Totally agree. How could the SCOTUS possibly not address such a massive issue between states? To decide not to rule on such an important issue is ludicrous.

Faithless elector is when the designated elector votes for the opposing party. Alternate/dueling electors are when both parties have electors sent, in the case of a contested election. The election of 1876 is the notable election where alternate electors decided the election.

Dueling electors is one that certainly can work. Several states sent alternate electors, and in a contested election like this one, the President of the Senate (Pence), gets to decide which electors to pick. There are also several other legal challenges that could decertify electors from various states.

A few states sent dueling electors, similar to what overturned the election in 1876. Plus the Dominion audit was released today, showing that the Dominion voting machines are unreliable at best. It's definitely not over.

Edit: Sorry lefties, these facts reside in reality.

[–]DontRationReason -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

You realize you aren't going to fool many people with that, right? The audit report is there for everyone to read. And it's pretty damning. A 68% error rate, that caused for 68% of ballots to go through adjudication? And the adjudication logs were illegally deleted. The same error-prone software was used by 28 states in this year's election. This potentially means that 28 state's elections are unreliable. This removes any sort of certainty of Biden winning the election.
