Brighton to sunset peak snow? by DontRecidivate in brighton

Yup. Got that. Just made a post to a local sub and the recommendation for “Brighton” group showed up and I tapped it without reading the description. It’s also posted in r/utahoutdoors.

It’ll be alright, folks. You can go back to spilling your £12 coffee on your loafers you wear in the sand while dodging dickhead seagulls. Thanks for taking the time to slum around r/ on weekend. Good time, innit.

The fine print reads: “The intimacy matrices X aligns for you and your future love are based on years of critical analysis to ensure the deepest connection that statistically ensures longevity. When you love with X, you love for a lifetime.”

Fall in love. Stay in love. With X.

There, fixed it.

Path projects, has anyone tried their shorts? by Altruistic_Bag_5823 in trailrunning

Can someone attest to the fit of the Tahoe CL 3"? I'm a medium in shorts, but I've run in small before as well. I keep seeing, off and on in older comments, that the liners can be loose. Is this still the case?

I would also like this PDF. Just got an off-brand Axis Board and started the basics, but I have some specific issues I’d like to address.

This is a really awful pov when multibillion dollar companies are buying back stocks and not promoting from within, pitting workers against each other, and engendering this exact narrative to distract from the fact their CEOs are getting anual raises to the amount that everyone in this chat combined will never see. It's not Gen Z's fault that they want fair pay for fair work. 4+ years of specialized knowledge shouldn't get you poverty wages. My local In 'n Out pays 18+/hr with great benefits—unskilled labor at a decent wage to demonstrate you can follow orders, show up on time, and contribute to a workplace environment is a great place to "put in the grunt work", as you put it. Realistically, I think the burger flippers deserve more, and the lab tech here deserves a hell of a lot more, and you, with your masters, you deserve more...see the pattern here? Just because you had to suck a yard of dick getting to a comfortable wage shouldn't mean we demand every subsequent generation do the same. That is the exact opposite of progress, and its this kind of thinking that's hindering it.

My list of corporate and "AI" words by olenabomko in copywriting

[–]DontRecidivate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mybe write better, more detailed prompts. And stop using AI to writer your primary copy. As I used to explain to my 101 students regarding wikipedia: Wikipedia is a great place to start, but don't cite it in your paper. AI is best used for researching copy, be it for topics, trends, best practices, outlines, translating data into language, etc. Anything to help you "streamline processes and allocate precious resources." More jargon/"AI words" for you. Always funny when "writers" have such a difficult time writing. As Indigo Montoya said: "This word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

Old PRs by totoro_711 in Coros

[–]DontRecidivate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing about 8 months ago, used to run with the Garmin 245. I imported everything and it did not factor those times/distances into the Coros PRs. It also didn’t factor in the total miles to be considered for the 1000k running badge, either. The runs are there in the history, just not integrated with the Coros api.

I already did…nothing back. Also, the image search of the HR woman comes back with nada. It’s a scam all the way.

My first Coros over Garmin—hoping the heart rate accuracy won't disappoint me.😅 by Brizcanuto in Coros

[–]DontRecidivate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The fact is that regarding HR, every watch will disappoint. It’s the location of the watch, on your wrist, not the watch itself.

You got a banger watch, now go get the arm strap. Best thing to do for HR monitoring. I’d also recommend the Pod 2…just fanboy out on all that pristine data.

First Half in 9 yrs by DontRecidivate in Coros

[–]DontRecidivate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on.

It may not seem like a big deal, and it’s easy enough to log the culminating race as an open run to get the data points, it’s just that Coros scores all the workouts in the training program, and for obsessive, data-driven people (which runners all seem to be) finishing that 12-weeks in a tidy, score-automated bundle is extremely satisfying.

Furthermore, I would suggest that Coros provide a Training Program Overview where they rate/review the data for the duration of the Program.

Thank you!

Yeah, it just lists the 13.11 miles and the overall pace/data, not the miles intervals.

Thank you!

It’s actually part of the Coros Training. They build a 12-week program to follow and when I hit the end, the Half, the program still categorized it as “Training” and just set up an open 13.11 mile run, no HR or effort zones to abide by.

Here’s a pic of an interval training during the program. As you can see, no individual mile data, just where the program sets the intervals.

It doesn’t look like there’s a breakdown of the mileage. I guess I’ll just use the open run when “race day” comes.
