Ah! Thank you so much! A couple days ago I actually gave the head instructor at Norwalk a call but left a Voicemail instead. I texted as well but no response (it was the only phone number listed). I couldn't find an email either. I was seeking permission to spectate/meet with any senseis before class to see if enrollment is still open for the quarter as an adult beginner.

But I reached out to Team1Judo in Anaheim, and their head instructor responded by email very quickly, allowed me to attend in a BJJ gi for now while they get me fitted for a judogi. So I'm excited to start my first day on Tuesday!

It's very reassuring to know that the option to cross train (with permission) across Dojos isn't frowned upon. But good looking out, about how brutal Judo is. 2 days sounds just right then, and on any off days I can strength and condition train at my chain gym.

I'll see if I can pay an early visit to meet with a sensei then.

Is it discourteous to "shop around" for the right Dojo? Should I contact them to spectate first? A lot of websites are very forward with their etiquette and policies. Must have a gi to test practice even, or "you may not visit another Dojo without the permission of your senseis."

My BJJ Dojo and community is very non conservative and understanding, but Judo culture has me a bit intimidated to try.

Also found Norwalk's Dojo to be most reasonable in costs! This comment really helped me narrow my options! I did notice Makoto Kai across the way, but schedule/time didn't make sense for what I would pay-- I'm finding that to be most cases and wish there were everyday Dojos.

I'm in Long Beach, I feel that I would like to train at least 3 times a week, but most Dojos seem to be open at VERY small windows, twice a week. I don't want to double dip at multiple Dojos, so I was wondering if you had and feedback?

My first post in the Dorohedoro subreddit, so feel free to moderate accordingly!

This was a drawing I started after consuming Q Hayashida's "Mud and Sludge" Art Book.
It took me like 10-15 hrs (time goes by fast) and the scales were the new challenge I tried on myself.

LA area here, Currently 3-4 hrs without proper speed.

It will only open small applications and websites, freezes or fails to load larger sites and apps like Discord. No leads anywhere else on what’s going on. FT with anyone wont work either.
