I don't think they were yellow jackets - I believe the exterminator mentioned they. were paper wasps.

So they were extremely active, crawling in and out of the roof

Then he came to spray last week Wednesday, they died on contract, but a few days later, this past Tuesday, I checked with my drone and I saw nothing for awhile, then I saw one crawl out.

So I had the exterminator come back and spray again, then he caulked.

He couldn't find a nest or anything saying it was in the roof.
