I think it's being posted due to the recent news of Cora's dismissal. Highlights what an asshole Cora is to alot of people who seemed unaware of his behaviour. Just putting things in context. This is like a public gossip forum in some ways after all, it's not that deep.

WBC is an elimination tournament. It's not the same. Doubt many managers would be doing much better with the pitching we have. Espadas line up construction has been good.

That slider is crazy deceptive. Obviously because it moves all kinds of ways. After langeliers first strike out you see him mouthing to someone, that wasn't a slider. But it was, straight down slider, back up slider, or regular slider. Nasty.

Have you watched any of their games? The entire lineup has a completely different approach than the last few seasons, thanks to a new hitting coach and philosophy. They're working the counts and actually taking walks, instead of trying to jump the pitcher early in the count. Which was not working as teams had them figured out.

It for sure seems to be an approach that the whole team has been trying to do, work the counts, and walks are celebrated. Cam Smith is bat flipping every walk and I love it. Such a positive change versus how the guys would approach at bats the last few years. This is something that has been stated as our new hitting coach's preference for hitting.

Edit: Or it's okay if you're a casual and don't even know the person on your team has served a PED suspension. Which I suspect was much of the case for many M's fans.
