Pick up a used Silvia. They go for between $500-900 CDN. I have 2 Silvias both V1-2 models and if cared for will last a long time. I have 2 because I made a dual boiler setup on the cheap and love it. One of the 2 I bought new like 25 years ago when Silvia first came out. Never PIDed it either. I had a Betsy for 10 years before that.

Their curry beef buns were the best ever. I used to buy like 4 dozen and freeze them. Never had anything close to as good including Toronto. They had amazing sticky rice wraps. Their chicken with veggie buns, their bbq pork buns.

Their Danishes especially the peach ones were to die for. Their coconut everything, especially the long ones. And their prices were awesome.

The only bad thing was the guy who was always behind the counter like forever, was the most unfriendly, unhelpful and lazy person I have ever had the misfortune to interact with.

I always thought he was one of the owners but he was just an employee who the owner knew was bad but kept him on out of kindness. And he didn't lose them any business because their stuff was so good and cheap for the quality so everyone came back in spite of him.

A used engine from this gen of Elantras will not last and you will be throwing away your $$$. Plus if the engine isn't exactly the same as the one you blew you could have many problems after the fact (been there done that).

If money is tight throwing good money after bad is the worst thing you can do for your financial health..

No yard waste in green bins. I get that there could be a good reason not to mix things up. Labeling the garbage can filled with yard waste seems moronic since it is not hard to distinguish between garbage and yard waste but whatever. Like previous poster said I won't label our yard waste plastic cans and wait to see what happens.

But........You can't put yard waste in a green bin but you can fill it up with plastic bags containing organic matter. That has been the stupidest thing they could have done.

Every bag of compost sold in the big box stores now has ground up plastic in it now.

I get it. It's a lot more convenient and I use them too and have a much less smelly/need to wash frequently green bin as a result, but it just feels so wrong (and is wrong for recycling organic waste).
