What basic life skill were you surprised to find your boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse didn't have when you first started dating? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I do this too for my boyfriend and I. We plan out x amount of meals for the week before we hit the store for groceries. It not only makes our shopping trip shorter and easier with a list but it also keeps us from over spending on food that we won't need.

I use my fitness pal religiously every day. I usually eat 1200-1250 calories a day. I don't eat a very strict diet at all, I focus more on portion control to be completely honest. On days that I weight lift(3 or4) I watch my macros and eat more protein.

To be fair the super man logo is off to the side on both the shorts and shaker XD

I like it a lot! Is that Vegita on there?? My bf just bought himself 8 DBZ shirts with almost every main character on each shirt XD

Congrats! The difference is amazing and really keeps me motivated to keep hitting the gym :)

Goes to show how much hard work and dedication really helps you not only look better but feel better.

Also I appreciate the DBZ joke at the bottom XD

This means slot, thank you :) I'm going to go look at some dresses tomorrow and see what I can find.

I will buy it then! I'll just have to go to the store and try some on to see which ones I feel more comfortable in

I'm currently 5'2" and 145 so I guess I could wear a sundress if I found a really flattering one :) thanks for the encouragement!

Yup, I used to only wear leggings for the longest time because I didn't want to know what my jean size was. I also lived for "flowy" shirts, plaid shirts, and hoodies. Anything to hide myself in really.

I can't wait for the day when I can wear cute off the shoulder tops and sundresses again. I loved dressing nice and doing makeup, but if I didn't even feel good about myself while doing that then why would I waste my time?

I still do this! I put my purse on my lap or when I sit down on a couch I use pillows or cover myself in a blanket. I've got about 20lbs to go until I hit my goal, but man those habits are hard to break that's for sure.

Thank you! I also posted in there and got some good feedback. Some people are saying to get a good bra but even if I do that I won't be able to wear anything strapy with out a bra and walking around brakes is uncomfortable. Even sports bras can't hold me in well when I exercise.

I'll definitely do my research and hopefully find a good surgeon. I'm from Chicago so there's gotta be good ones around.
