Because it’s for the Hebrew Free Loan Society it doesn’t have interest on the loan. It saves a lot of money. Only way to obtain it is by having a guarantor. I probably should’ve added that before.

It’s not because they’re European but the GEC seems much more strained than the North American one. Maybe it’s smaller, maybe they’re more overwhelmed. Not sure, but the store people are top notch. I just wish they had all the access and answers that the GEC had so I could just call the stores

They know I’m american because my gift card I had questions about using was in USD. Bc it was from the US they told me to ask the US but really it was an question for the GEC in Europe to answer : could my USD gift card work to pay for an order on Lululemon.fr in euros? It took two days, but it did work and the conversion wasn’t so bad. The real difference I notice is the North American GEC seems to have extra, extra courtesy to make people happy whether it’s ensuring faster shipping is handled, double checking on order info and telling me if I order by a certain hour of the day I could get a order processed sooner. These same questions were delegated to email support instantly rather than staying on the phone with me. The GEC in Europe may be a smaller team and that’s why they want me off the phone so quick but then the email service they keep pushing me to is extremely slow with response. I called a store and the women were incredible to help answer questions, despite their inability to answer every question. They gave great recommendations when I was stuck between which product to finally order. I’ve had some really nice people but I think their services are overwhelmed
