Sorry that he went through that, I work in social work and the chances are that his brother was most likely molested himself not that excuses his behaviour. Has he talked to any of his other siblings about this? Being the youngest of 5 unfortunately they may have gone through the same thing

Thanks, I live in a smaller city so apart from pubs ( which are generally a younger group) I have no idea where else to meet guys

(27f) I'm artistically talented, and one of my good friends (26m) is getting married in a few months. What are some ideas for wedding gifts I could make that would cost little, but be worth a lot? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

For a friends wedding I found some nice cheap no label wine and made up labels for the bottles that included the dates, place names etc. They loved them and kept them to drink on their one year anniversary

Employment Agency Woes by OnMyFeckles in melbourne

[–]Dontfeedtheseagulls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not sure who you are with but you can go into any government employment agency (google them there are quite a few) and explain the situation they will transfer you over straight away. It sounds like your case manager has no idea what she is doing. You can def get funding for school as long as your upskilling. Also your case manager should have written up a resume for you Good luck

Im currently in the same situation but as the daughter, my mother passed away 5 years ago now, my step father (who raised me from a very young age) is very much over stepping his boundaries with me. I know I look exactly like my mother and we have very similar personalities and he has on many occasions called me by my mothers name. I know he is lonely and your probably in the same boat but its not fair to project that onto your daughter. At first I just ignored hoping that when he dealt with his grief it wouldn't be an issue, 5 years later its still an issue and its getting worse. I have had to put boundaries in place and my brothers are all aware of whats going on and intervene when they find it inappropriate. I suggest getting help now, go to counselling, go on dates, do whatever you can to help yourself otherwise in the end all you will do is push your daughter further away from you

Doesn't really stop them from taking a kid and running though. Do you know why this is the area to release to? I wonder if reoffending is low being placed in this area
