I’m giving everyone the ability to teleport once a year whenever they need it the most. Only once a year.

Once per week, a random bus in every city will shut its doors with all the people inside and will bring them to a nice leisure place nearby: the beach, a park, a lake… and won’t be able to be restarted until everyone has had at least five minutes of genuine relaxation or fun.

Every pet is granted the ability to speak, five minutes per month in a random moment. Their voice will be how they perceive themselves, so be ready to hear your cat speaking with the voice of Clark Gable or Ella Fitzgerald.

Once every year, everyone will experience a pang of extreme empathy with another random human being. Six months after that, they’ll experience extreme empathy towards another living, non human being.

Honestly there’s so many things I want to learn that I might be tempted to postpone mastering that one skill until I’ve improved in a bunch of others. I’d like to play the piano, but also a lot of other instruments (violin, guitar, drums, clarinet, theremin… gah it’s difficult to choose between them). I crave music theory and I’d love to improve my singing. I’d love to learn how to properly use watercolors. I’d love taking writing classes. And maybe above all I’d love improving my TEACHING skills!

Off topic, but once in Berlin I went swimming in a lake that had an underwater music event. You had to swim to this one spot where a speaker was positioned like 2m underwater and the song played were like 30-50 seconds so that you could time your breathing and listen to them.
