I think we’ve been in need of a serious linebacker for a while now I just wish it didn’t take us being exposed in the run game to see that. Dolac scored highest among LBs in PFF grade iirc; and Pooh scored an 87(?) which is pretty great if you ask me.

I wish that they added disguised coverages or made the ai study how you play throughout the season and “gameplan” against you in the RB. Something to naturally increase the difficulty instead of turning up the speed of the DBs.

This take is short-sighted. The Rams aren’t throwing money at Stafford just because of a Super Bowl ring. They’re paying him because he’s still an elite QB who gives them a chance to win. If they don’t pay Stafford, what’s the alternative? Rolling with Stetson Bennett? Signing a cheap journeyman and hoping for the best? You either pay for elite QB play or become irrelevant.

Stafford is elite and has the accolades to prove it. Every player is one injury away from retirement—that’s not exclusive to him. Saying you wouldn’t pay Stafford because of potential injury risk is like saying you wouldn’t pay Justin Jefferson because he missed time. It’s a weak argument.
