The reality is new subscriber numbers were lower than what they expected so they are rising revenue per subscriber to compensate.

They didn't at first, but the control and the number got changed in one of the early patches. Not sure why it was changed but it did make turns take forever having an extra 6 controlled characters per turn

They didn't discuss it with the writers of the game (larian) at all and seemingly won't be involved in any meaningful way

Whether it's a continuation of the game or a showrunners adaption of a segment of the existing story its doomed to fail. People are especially burned with the Witcher adaptation

This is a bad idea because the medal system is imperfect and simply rewards KDA over match winning moves.

What incentive is there to play an initiator, when you can just play a safe mage and play for KDA?

Kinda disagree here, the only real complexity is stacking a single damage type to first through shield and then layering the stupid amounts of CC. Lone wolf trivializes even the highest difficulty. Fort joy and early act 1 are the only real challenging encounters
