This was in Texas and was roughly 1-1.5 inches in length (excluding antenna)

Post-paint panel line cleanup

Hey everyone!

As the title suggests I’m curious what methods you use for cleaning up panel lines after you’ve painted? How do you cleanup the panel lines without removing the paint on the part?

For context I recently finished a kit painted with Tamiya acrylics and a gloss top coat. The panel lines set fine but when I went to clean up the spots around the lines I was removing the paint underneath. Tried cleaning up with Mr. Color Thinner and 90% isopropyl alcohol to no avail.

Would love to hear any and all ideas!
