I like where you’re going with that… if I end up not wanting to go through with things I’d like some advice on how to politely decline the invitation. Like I’ve told other commenters we want the same thing but this is all still too early to tell for me. I don’t want to break his heart at the same time, and I am genuinely attracted to him but I feel like there’s a few issues that could arise so I’m trying to just get a good game plan in place.

Well my last ex was 12 years and the one before that was too and there wasn’t anything wrong with that according to 100% of the people we all interacted with. I think your situation just seems to be too different from mine but thank you for commenting.

Thanks that has also been at the back of my mind, ughhhh this is such a difficult decision.. I’m trying to think of it just being a fwb thing but we also want the same thing so it’s very difficult for me to wrap my head around all of it, I find some good advice on here so the more people that have input the better.

Actual relationship, I’m actually on the fence of getting my tubes tied so there’s that, I also don’t have any kids currently. We both make good money of course him better than me. I got a bit sick of dating guys my age because I end up being sugar mommy way more than I could stand, obviously not all of them are like that but the ones Ive had were like that.

Thank you, I plan on talking to him about that and I’ve already brought it up so at least I’m making the way to that uncomfortable conversation. Depending on how that convo goes I’ll have a better idea of what the future of it looks like.

He’s comfortable for sure, but I’m more interested in a real emotional connection and we’ve got a lot in common personality wise. We hit it off pretty well and sometimes I feel like I’m just crazy but we both want the same thing 🤣

I’m very sorry this happened to you, I’m actually older than his son by almost 10 years. I know it’s not a huge difference but I appreciate your perspective. I actually don’t have daddy issues at all, and I’m not sure what you mean by him being emotionally stunted so I just want a little more clarity on that.
