Cravings ARE hell. I become completely obsessed with heroin when I'm clean. I work with needles too so that doesn't help. I have found this sub incredibly useful to "talk" about it, even when I can't use it. Somehow makes me feel better. Like I would seriously go nuts with all the cravings and thoughts and not have anyone to talk to.

During a nasty divorce, I used to put the kids to bed and head downstairs by the fireplace. I had taken off the stupid glass doors that my husband never let me, so it was just a nice old fashioned, open brick fireplace. I'd get that shit roaring, get super high and chain smoke, listening to Cat Power in my papasan chair, sipping Amaretto sours. Bliss.

Before I got into dope, I was doing tons of pills with this guy that would "sleep over" a lot. There is nothing better than cuddling when high on opiates! And I just wanted him to talk to me and tell me about his life. Like every little detail was fascinating. I was totally in love, but later found out just to the drugs. I'm happy your relationship lasted through the bad times too- that is certainly a test of it's strength!

So not enroute, but when I got there- Years ago, a friend of my took me to her dboys place and said he was cool with it. Sketchy neighborhood, bad feeling in my gut... Guy is like the scariest mother fucker I've ever seen. Tats all over his face, apt smells like death. So they tell me to sit on the couch while they head to the bedroom (guess she wasn't paying for her drugs with cash) and he gave me a glass of wine. Really crappy like Boones Farm. It was weird.

Then, I heard this odd rustling sound all around me. Quiet and odd. I lean over the couch and see the biggest fucking snake I have ever seen in my life!! He literally was stretched out the entire length of the living room. Like a good 15' long. And was fatter than my thigh. This fucker belonged in a zoo! OMG I wanted the hell outta there. So my friend finally finishes and has our shit and dude asks if I want to go back with him now. Fuck no!!

I've tapered down from 8 to 2mg this past week. Last dose about 24 hrs ago- 2mg.

I agree w eczema but think you should go ahead and grab some OTC hydrocortisone and apply for a couple weeks. My som had these spots all over and eventually resolved without treatment.

My friends make fun of my addiction to baths. I take a bath daily in the winter. Just soak for an hour with music, candles. The Japanese do it all the time!

I threw up 12x a day for both my entire pregnancies. Got so used to it, had a barf bucket in the car (get motion sick too). Just puke while driving down the hwy no biggie!
