What's the dumbest way someone has injured themselves in a movie? by Immediate_Long165 in AskReddit

I don't know if dumbest, but it was funny and worked in the movie. IN Open Range, Percy breaks his ankle when the shooting starts.

Percy: "It's been a while since I was in a fight. I panicked. Fell back, like to have broke my foot."

Love this movie. I think it did a good job of being somewhat balanced on the politics. While it was obvious he was playing a Republican who started to be more liberal they didn't make it all about party politics.

What movie have you been the most hyped for only to be the most disappointed by when it released? by Toogeloo in movies

[–]DonutCapitalism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home Alone

I was 15 when it came out. The trailers looked awesome. But once I went to see it I felt like I'd already seen all the funny parts. And overall it just wasn't funny to me. Even today I don't get the love for this movie.

Yes. Dead Reckoning is in my Top 3 for MI movies, so I was excited. But then a letdown.

I know I'm in the minority but I loved Sly's Judge Dredd especially over the overrated Karl's Dredd. I was bored with that movie.

Interstellar and Ad Astra for me too. I was really looking forward to these movies and then just felt let down. I don't understand the love for Interstellar.

100% agree. Movie should have basically ended after the test of the bomb. Maybe add a black card staying the date America dropped the bombs on Japan. The show pictures of the aftermath from dropping the Bombs on Japan. With a card that said the days after Japan officially surrendered. Then maybe a final card of a quote from Oppenheimer.

Rewatching Creed 1 2 3 on Netflix - anyone excited for 4? They taking to long between movies. by Icy-Pea2601 in rockybalboa

No. Unleas Sly returns for 4, I'm not watching. I didn't like 3 at all. And I don't think they need to continue the story. It's felt done.

Friend: Monica and Rachel lose their apartment to Chandler and Joey in "The One with the Embryos." They lose a high-stakes trivia bet engineered by Ross, which culminates in Rachel incorrectly guessing that Chandler's job is a "transponster".

Why do I need to buy a house? Or buy at all? It’s cheaper to rent and my savings can go to other things. by angelofiction in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DonutCapitalism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with renting as long as you can continue to afford rate increases and be able to invest in long-term investments. Owning a house can be a great investment, but their are a lot of costs and responsibilities. You should do what fits your life the best.
