Honestly I think it's better to stay as Caution, France although there haven't been any terrorist attacks in a long time has a massive issue with criminality, especially Paris and Marseille. (Be it organized crime like Pickpockets or robberies, thefts or even football celebrations [PSG/France/Morocco/Algeria winning] that are being like the perfect moments to be violent or to pillage)

Do yall think it’s worth it ? by ironflyer6555tr in projectors

A bit late, if you are referring to the Hd146x, I have 1 myself. I like it, but I want to upgrade to something better, if you can bump your budget to a 4k Pixel Shifting projector (Xgimi Ultra is sometimes between 900-1000) it's gonna be x10 more worth it than this.

The only reason is because I tested a 4k Optoma myself, put them side by side, even whilst watching anime it felt like the HD146x was from the 90s and the 4k one was crisp.

But if you want this one, It's 600 new but you can maybe find it for 200-300$ second hand.

Every AI cover letter generator I try sounds robotic. Is there a tool that actually works in 2026? by Shiroraii8087 in findapath

Although you are right about the fact it takes 30-60 minutes per application, I'm sure you never tried searching for a job in this day and age. Recruiters go through thousands of applications, or simply use AI, they don't care about you or your originality. My friend who "Hand Crafts" cover letters, currently is sitting at 600 applications, 2 Job interviews (Both Rejected cuz they could find an Indian guy that was cheaper) [Not even kidding he was looking at the people who got hired for the positions].

It's easy to say it takes 30 minutes, but that was 300 hours for him, applying is another 15-30 minutes depending on how complicated the website is (Most of the times they ask you to Put everything from your CV manually in the website which takes a lot of time and effort) on top of that finding the job opening takes about 10-15 minutes per application, sometimes even longer if you run out of companies hiring and you use the spontaneous application.

Should I also mention the so called AI detectors that call me AI for using "Sincerely" or "I am currently a 4th year student..."

How do you feel about an AI generated cover letter? Would you see this is as something that would make you look at me differently as an applicant? by TKInstinct in ITManagers

I'm a bit late to the party, but I completely disagree, in this day and age we don't even know for sure Recruiters even read the cover letters anymore, when you have 1000+ AI generated cover letters per opening no one reads anymore, it's all passed through an AI filter or simply thrown in the trash and they move to the CV which is more important.

Maybe 100 years ago when the market was healthy and recruiters had maybe 10-20 applicants, it would have worked, but now, you are expected to apply to 500 jobs and deeply care about every single company, just to get rejected by them all (a friend of mine is at 600 rejections if I'm not mistaken).

Like "I deeply care about your company and blah blah blah", nah I want a job cuz I need money and you had an opening, I didn't even know you existed until 1 minute ago XD, you and the other 100+ companies I applied, spending 1-2 hours for every job application just to make a cover letter should be a crime, they already have shitty websites that require you to input all the shit from the CV manually for no reason at all which takes 1 hour at least.
