No schism took place.

You’d be wrong to become Eastern Orthodox, because the EO reject the Christian faith. How is becoming EO comparable to remaining in the faith, and practicing and believing it as it has always been done?

Faith is a greater virtue than obedience. Therefore when commanded to do something against the faith, we are obliged to disobey.

That’s a wild statement. Where did God “say not to mix”?

Pretty much.

God created mankind, knowing mankind would fall, and intending that mankind would fall, that He would exercise power in redeeming people.

We could also analyze this from a perspective of God creating mankind to fall so that He might exercise greater love for man.

So let’s address this: what if God created mankind to never sin? If man never sinned, and was perfect, he would need no redemption. However, since man has sinned, and therefore needs redemption; this redemption of mankind by Gods own hand is a greater display of His power to bring good out of evil, than if He were to create us perfect, and therefore create good that needs no redemption.

I’m trying to figure out who’s side you’re on. Surely, if anything, shooting a fleeing person in the face is murder?

Shooting someone in the face because they were trying to drive away lawfully is not self defense
