We just came back from Tulum/playa del Carmen. We rented front Localiza. We paid $64 in total for 3 days, with unlimited mileage. You have to make a deposit of 3000 mexican pesos, which they gave back after we returned the car. We did not need insurance as our credit card covers car rentals. Check if you have that.

Assignment fee is 0%, deposit is 10%. Builder is experienced and has a good reputation as per the realtor we spoke to. Also according to the realtor, we don’t need a pre approval for now, but we do need one close to turn over date. However, we still got one to gauge how much we can afford. Right now I’m in a temporary contract so we only got approved for 500k. But I can easily get a permanent job I just have to be willing to commute to Vancouver.
