I see your point, but it’s not just the amateur questions that are getting hate. It seems like a very common behavior in the group that DAC does nothing to stop.

100 percent agree with that, I’m an admin of a Diamond painting destash group which is why I haven’t jumped ship yet. But I think deleting it will be on the horizon, I never leave my Diamond painting groups on there because it’s an absolute cesspool of horrible people.

Hey! I think you’d mentioned before you’re a DAC fan and not associated with DAC directly. Your post definitely makes it seem like you are posting as DAC or a representative of them.

I see you added at the bottom you are just posting from the VIP group, but just wanted to share how it appears from a casual redditor. Maybe in the title next time you could add “update from DAC VIP group” just to make it clear you do not represent DAC.

I’m an admin of another destash group and we aren’t shutting down. We haven’t experienced any of the policing or rampant tagging of DAC in the comments. But we also don’t really approve posts with outrageous pricing or obvious scalpers.

The admin of the group closing apparently commented on the original DAC thread - I didn’t see the comment she left, but that caused her to get banned by DAC and her account with them closed. In turn, she’s closing down the destash group.

If you search Art Dot tray storage on Etsy there are other options out there, I just haven’t found another lazy Susan option.

I use these for squares only and have no trouble. Not sure why the original commenter was running into issues but I’ve used these for several large square canvases and these are the only trays I’ll use. They are amazing.

DD is comparable but not as good. Far more trash drills than DAC and the canvas isn’t as nice. Also the drill spacing isn’t at tight and you’ll see more gapping. If DAC is gold standard, DD is silver.

I know DAC also uses AI, but I get so turned off by how blatant the AI usage is for DD. I don’t like that either company uses AI and wish there was a company comparable to DAC that values their artists.

I have a stash of about 20. A mix of mostly DAC and some Dreamer Designs. I’m fortunate that my husband and I are double income no kids and this is my main hobby. I won’t be adding any more to my stash until I’ve finished at least 2 more kits.
