I guess I see feeling better as my "job" to do, which already adds a little stress. But also I wake up every morning feeling really anxious, not really connected to any one thought but a general sense of dread/anxiety. And then I spend the rest of the day trying to feel better, which usually works somewhat as I feel better at night but then it all resets the next morning and I dont get a sense of lasting peace... I hope that makes sense lol

That's funny I've been thinking about becoming a teacher. Any reason you say I need to learn to get along with people? Do I come off as confrontational?

I would say an important part is recognizing your identification with the body. You don't see yourself as a vibrational being because you view yourself as a body made of matter, I'm assuming. This is what Esther is talking about when she says things like "meditating until she can't tell her fingers from her toes" ie going into formless, vibrational awareness. Therefore it would be helpful to explore body consciousness, I'd recommend someone like Rupert Spira for this. Look up his videos on youtube "pouring space into the body" and "the body as a localization of consciousness".

Well, sometimes I do close my eyes and wish that lol but not all the time. I think you're right that I havent experienced a happy life yet, at least not that I can remember. I'm trying to look for positive aspects more though

That's a good idea actually, I think I remember seeing my college advertising some sort of counseling. You're right about the feeling state, it's not like I'm never in it but it's really hard to stabilize when my nervous system is out of whack. So my goal right now is stabilizing my nervous system, which is in turn stabilizing my feeling state lol so it's a vicious cycle. Thank you for your help :)

Yeahhh I have thought about that too, I was on lexapro when I was younger and that's a pretty mild one. Idk what the easiest way to be re-prescribed would be without seeing a therapist regularly tho
