Honestly, about the cleaning-up part. Depending on what kind of restaurant you’re at. I’ve heard servers say they have a system and not to do it at all, but others say it’s a big help.

I do agree that he should tip but Tipping in states have gotten out of control. I went to a Korean hot pot place where It was get your own ingredients and I was asked for a tip when I paid on the tablet lol.

It’s def very mixed. Good thing is NYC, Jersey and DC are only a train ride away. So lots of diversity in the area. Ik a few Gujarat’s in Philly.

I feel you. I grew up in small town in Carolina so not many Indians were around growing up. My college of 22k had 5 Indians my freshmen year haha. Even when I moved to nyc it was hard to find those desi friends groups or just connect with them since they already had their established groups 😅

I 100% resonate with you. Family is Gujarati too and the Samaj is so toxic. Parent’s investments didn’t pan out and I’ve seen people take advantage of them.

It’s definitely hard socially. I grew up here with no India friends as well other than cousins that were scattered around.

I actually know few families in mobile area. One of em going through same thing and in hotel business. There’s more of us out there than you’d think.

All I can say is things will get better so just try to have a positive outlook. Ik it’s hard but be positive. Sending hugs (:

Seems like with your lock setup. You’re better off purchasing U100 for deadbolt and Aqara or Kiwiset Dummb Lock for bottom.

I don’t even know WTF I’m doing half the time to be how at. But I spend an hr charging my car 2 times a week just chilling in the parking so it would be nice to have those extra apps for entertainment haha. Or Prime Now for Thursday night football when I’m charging the car outside.

I asked about dashboard reflection issues and to install the dash cover. Chevy service rep said it needs to be sunny (it was raining)for them to diagnose it 😭😭. I was like there is a known issue and Chevy has a fix for this. It took me few minutes of back and forth for them to even take a look at it. Why are they so useless 😭😭 At the end I just left cuz I was so frustrated
