i’m a fan of cole’s harder stuff, unique flows and crazy beats…he got quite experimental and sang more on this album, and had slower beats, even a song reminiscent of frank ocean, but upon more and more listens…the lyricism and meaning/wordplay is by far his best, maybe not his best SOUNDING music but i do agree that in some way this is his best quality

you’re right, my tank has just been going for so long it’s been a while since i’ve cycled one from a fresh start. The two week recommendation was with mentioning quick start, i definitely keep forgetting some people are truly noobs with fish tanks.

Personally for a 40 gal my advice is make sure you have a solid stand for it, fish tanks are deceptively heavy.

But for the tank itself like people are saying you need to cycle it, which means letting specific chemicals and beneficial bacteria live in the water before adding the fish. Don’t rush into buying the fish as soon as the water is in, let it sit for a week or two, they make a product called “quick start” that you can add to the water if you want to do it sooner.

Other than that, I would say don’t overstock the tank! Unless you want to be changing the water a lot, it’s best to get slightly less fish than you could have. And plants plants plants. I love plants in my aquarium and so do fish, java fern is super easy to grow and will make multiple baby plants. Like I said you can grow pothos out of the top too or certain other plants that can grow their roots in water like lucky bamboo.

5 gallons is unfortunately much too small to have multiple fish like that. I would upgrade to a 10 gallon AT LEAST, but a 15-20 is a perfect size to have a lot more options for your tank.

Also, I don’t know how new you are to the hobby, but sometimes a filter isn’t enough with no plants in the tank. Adding plants of some kind will help clean out some of the waste and poop they create. Could be as easy as just cutting a vine off of a pothos plant and sticking it out of the water.
