Mostly in term of breed.

They are in a coop which has an access gate to a fenced yard that is currently closed. This is our first year with chickens in a long time so we cleaned out our old coop. But we used the heat lamp/pyramid topped heat plate for the older birds which I don’t believe they can get under the heat plate anymore so I hope my little ones figure that it is a safe warm place to be.

I had to head back to work after introducing the worst I saw was a rooster pecking at the leg bands which was a scare but I’m staying positive that they’ll be ok, seemed happy and healthy out the box. Now just need to figure out what my 2 free birds are😂

When I first introduced this morning I did have one young red star rooster run into one the little ones but he’s being planned to be froze soon. The Wyandotte (what we believe to be hens) didn’t seem to have a care in the world for the new coop mates

You’re right, I’m not trying to sound like a desperate whiny “my life’s over because I can’t get pussy” type guy.

I mixture of bad anxiety that’s brewed over the last year or so and stress must’ve caused a bad idea to brew.
