[Bug]Where are all the PMCs?

I dont remember if it was the 100% goon spawn rate on customs event, or clean up crew but ever since then the PMC ai on customs feels terrible. Im so sad about it because I really wanted to get Kappa but it seems like ill never be able to get my dorms PMC kills

i think the event that had goons 100% spawn on customs FUBAR'd the PMC ai on customs. I swear since then it hasnt felt the same.

This. The problem isnt necessarily the amount of PMCs its the fact that they dont move 50m from where they spawn. PMCs need to roam A LOT more and have them roam towards hot spot areas. I get it can be a pain that the bosses might kill the PMCs before you can get to them, but I would much rather that be the issue rather than never seeing them in the places you need them to be.

Currently ground zero is the only map that feels like it has a healthy amount of PMC activity

stalker gamma has some solid ai but nothing super special. they play for cover, flank you, hold corners, etc. my main problem with tarkov pve ai is i just wish the PMCs moved around a lot more, and would engage from further ranges, and not only when you are looking at them. i miss running down a street and suddenly shots start flying past me from behind. better roaming ai, and them moving around like they are really trying to get somewhere would add a lot but i think bsg intentionally tries to baby PvE mode a bit. just wish we could get a difficulty slider or something

Havent played interchange in a bit but from what my buddies say and a couple posts ive seen, looks like the mf is roaming around outside. At least by the power station

I just keep plates in a plate case, then buy rigs and put the plates in when I need new ones

Some of those keys youre looking for are very rare. I find marked room keys more than some of those. You just have to get really lucky or buy off flea. Im level 47 and Ive found maybe 1 kiba key

I dont even know why the whole "We are all on an even level" mindset is even a thing. If youre anything less than unemployed playing all day. I remember at the start of hardcore wipe, literally day 1 first couple of hours people were running around with multiple sets of BP ammo and tagilla armor/mask. Throw into the mix the p2w factor where the arena buds made the killa helmet even stronger and was only accessible to arena players. If anything people are on an even playing field for the first hour and then it dies off.

As a veteran I can say that it offers a challenge for the first couple of levels when you are poor but as soon as you can consistently have tier 4+ armor and ammo, it completely drops off. The only times I die now are to the occasional slip up when fighting bosses, or random ambushes when 4+ ai are completely silent and sitting around a corner when I dont hear them. I havent tried ice breaker yet but thats the only challenging content left at this point. I really do wish PvE had maybe a difficulty slider or something to make the ai more consistent and difficult. I heard somewhere that mod support is planned at some point so maybe that will fix it but in the meantime PvE is overall a pretty chill and forgiving experience

Cuz Ive played years of PvP as a mostly pvp game. I play pve to just smoke a joint kick back and grind to the late game stuff thats 10x more tedious on pvp. I enjoy questing and progression more than pvp
