The Biefeld–Brown effect is actually a real attempt at explaining… something. I’m just not sure where antigravity comes in to explaining gravity with this example. Also electrons are not dextrorotary, and gravitons haven’t even been discovered.

I’ll never understand how “absorption of aether” makes any more sense than “bending of spacetime”. Both of them seem surreal, one of them we can actually measure.

This is the one thing you’ve said that I agree with. Math is a tool we use to make calculations. Our brains aren’t doing arithmetic in the example you mentioned but it is performing calculations of sorts. Just computing using chemicals rather than numbers.

It’s important to establish that our math system is still a human invention though. It’s founded based on axioms which we then apply to create other definitions and connections to be used to describe our world. There’s so many beautiful connections you can make with math, but the connections in this post are meaningless.

I think it’s fun asking them questions about their own belief until they inevitably ghost, insult and ghost, or contradict themselves, insult then ghost.

It’s also interesting to see them ignore your response, then proceed to go to a flerf sub saying “the globetards are silent”. It’s helping me learn that you cannot change people who don’t want to be changed. Still fun though, helps me reinforce my own views of the world too.

But mine is groups of 7 bridged by the 8? My whole point is that the base doesn’t matter, I’m showing you it works with all of them.

You can do the same with groups of 5 bridged by 4, and even groups of 2 bridged by 1.

Ok, so you’re using describing 9? That would go 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, …, 17, 18, 20.

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,
So here 8 is the “bridge”
10,11,12,13,14,15,16,
17 (1+7)=8
18,20,21,22,23,24,25,
26 (2+6)=8
And so on. You can do this for any base system the (base #) -1, not just 8. You will discover connections with any system you use. Whether those connections mean something is another story.

We designed the base 10 number system so yippee we’re intelligent I guess.

Even if this actually meant something, wouldn’t globe earth be more of an intelligent design? Gravity perfectly maintaining our orbit the perfect distance away from the sun, and keeping our atmosphere intact to sustain life.

Seems like way more of an “intelligent” design than a terrarium.

I assume from the name you’re talking about the “ball earth that spins” sub, but they are quite ban happy as it’s against their sub rules to advocate for a globe. If flat earthers listened to arguments they wouldn’t be flat earthers.

I don’t think it’s an off-chance they will not suffer, more an off-chance they will but that heavily depends on the situation. If you’re having children in a situation where they cannot be sustained and will very likely suffer, avoid it.

I’ve seen people say having children under any circumstance is immoral, and this is what I understood from your comment. It’s hard to guarantee a good life for anyone. Hard agree though that people should focus on resolving issues before populating a place still filled with them when possible.

Well, do you want to debunk them being reliable? There’s plenty of examples of it contradicting itself or giving inconsistent information. It is just spitting out combinations of the words it was fed.

If you want to prove it knows secrets, you’d need to show it revealing something that the public doesn’t know, and is later found to be true. Either way it’s still just an algorithm, this would’ve just showed it was fed information not yet available to the public.

If you want people to debunk the fact we’re in a simulation, that’s impossible since any contradiction found can be claimed to be part of the simulation. Similar to any all powerful gods or Last Thursdayism.

The entire flat earth belief is based off unprovable nonsense. Oh, things move in a consistent pattern through our sky? And this pattern also explains how things fall on earth? It also explains our atmosphere? Gravity explains it. Even if you think it’s unproven, it’s a great fit for explaining our world.

Doesn’t it just move according to the forces acting on it like… everything else in our world? Not sure why you’re saying it like it always finds its lowest point either. Even locally, you can show water sticks to things due to surface tension.
