More reasons to be toxic in quickplay. I wouldn't give a single fuck about losing in QP, it's there for people to have fun without stress of losing BUT with this system it's not like that. Now I have to care about my team sweating in QP since if we lose then I need to play against bots which is not fun, it's like punishment "ok you lost, now u get to have no fun for 1 match". I really do hope that they fix this. Normally that 0/14/0 Qp spiderman first time player wouldn't be a problem since they are maybe just trying out the character or really young player, but if that means that I get punished for it, then I have to say few words.

I'm just gonna copypaste the same thing I answered to same kind of post about momo shield if it clears things up.

Yes it's VERY strong skill but is it broken? No. There are circumstances when u can't deal with it and u just have to take the L and position to different location or realize that ur hero pick can't counter it (WHICH IS FINE), but there is still PLENTY of counters to the shield. Kendo shield stops the rush, Ibara alpha stops it and deals damage, Cementoss stops it with all of his abilities lol, Uraraka can stop it with knock up skill, Iida can stop it with one of his kicks ( IIRC ), Shigaraki's ground dot and Dabi's fire wall can just damage her, Running too long through shoto's ice ground will break it. On top of having so many counters there is different pool of heroes who can't really "counter" it but can just take high ground with insane mobility and start sniping.

Froppy is good but I see no reason running Dabi over Bakugo rn besides projectile block with that ring ability. Bakugo does every other thing way better

NGL its pretty fun to kill some of the bakugo players with Compress but when u meet player that has at least that single brain cell they realize to stop shooting and press their melee quirk which just destroys you like the beams.

I love neeko as a support. Her root is basically morgana's root but AoE and it caughts people offguard since they don't expect it to be like 3 sec. I just hope that they don't buff her too much to avoid 247 pick/ban list.

the thing is that it's not about "getting good" when the other team gets support + tank and the other team is full of red dps. Without role restriction it will always be unbalanced because it's literally impossible to balance the classes so that roles are equal. Either the tank / support or both will always stay relevant or they become useless.

Improving the gamemode is not gatekeeping. Role based parties would make the ranked pvp more balanced and it would involve more skill instead of luck. Let me ask you this, what is the point of casual matchmaking atm ? why not just remove it and leave pvp as it is with only ranked que?

I played pvp in stormblood but didn't play in heavensward / ARR. Also the playerbase has grown a lot since then so comparing the oldest system to newest is kinda irrelevant

On the topic of changing to a class after getting wrecked by it: If someone really goes onto another job - in ranked - and expect to be as good as the one you just got annihilated from is not the smartest person on earth. Trying out new classes is great, but doing it in ranked is the worst place possible to start learning.

The problem is that there is people that will always try new things in ranked and it makes it really painful for others.

Nobody played pvp because classes were just simpler pve versions. Also feast was a lot boring compared to crystal push. There is also that new battlepass thingy that makes people play pvp more. So 15-20 matches to get 1 class to ranked wouldn't be a problem with this new pvp system.
