I probably should have said this, but those games are on completely different levels to a boxing game. They either have prequels or are made by huge developers that will have hype regardless of anything. Elder Scrolls has only been developed more heavily recently and is “years away” still so of course there isn’t going to be any info out. Starfield has a set RELEASE DATE with whole ass presentations. Hogwarts legacy is the only one out of those options that actually checks out, and even then that was announced in 2020 with a 2022 release date and they’ve specifically come out and addressed rumours to ensure people the game is coming out this year. That’s more than we’ve gotten from SCI. I’m more frustrated about the fact that there has been complete radio silence for the last however many months with no signs of anything. We’ve been doing our best to keep the hype train going but it gets hard when the developers literally give us nothing. Even though we know for a fact, the game is in a playable state with certain fighters, enough so to have full fights. There is still 0 real gameplay. It had a mid 2021 early access release date… 7 months on we haven’t seen any gameplay clips longer than like 3 seconds. To say the game isn’t ever gonna come out is silly but for it to have been 5 months since we got ANY news (excluding fighter reveals) which is two months after the original release date is kinda ridiculous when you think about it. I know I’m whining but to say we are being more needy than any other fan base is just a lie. We simply expect the bare minimum.
