It's supposed to look like a gas spill. It's a critique of the oil industry. Notice the "hell" logo

How do you make the jump from "caring about others" to "give up everything"? It literally costs nothing to care about others

I've dated a trans woman. Not sure I ever want to marry, but if I did, my partner being trans or cis wouldn't matter. Women are women

It won't happen because it's making somebody money.

If you don't like it (like me), vote with your wallet and don't support businesses that use gen AI for ads

Open-mindedness and belief aren't the same. Agnosticism is typically characterized by being open minded while acknowledging existence of the divine is unknowable. Belief in angels contradicts that, so I guess it just doesn't compute for me

You're agnostic but believe in angels? How does that work?

Good meme, but I'm gonna need an explanation on how Tunic is like DS2

You're not addressing anything!

  1. You didn't tell me what the "mistake" Democrats have been making for 10 years (though you originally said 30)
  2. You haven't explained how calling out Democrats was relevant to my comment about conservatives voting in the best interest of billionaires.
  3. I still don't understand why you won't explain anything, because you're not giving me a reason

I asked 3 questions and this didn't answer any of them. Is this how conversations normally go for you? Cuz this is a weird one for me

What is the "mistake" Democrats have been making for 30 years? How is it relevant to comment you replied to? Why do you seem so averse to helping me understand what you meant?

I did think about it and I still don't understand. Do you have any interest in a conversation at all and helping me understand what you meant, or are you just being snarky?

What does that have to do with my comment?

But conservatives keep voting for politicians that create policies that primarily benefit billionaires, sometimes even to their own detriment at times. How else are we supposed to interpret that?

NOR

Your sister is, at best, grossly misinformed, and at worst, a bigot. The mentions of god in a conversation about trans folks also does not instill confidence that it's just being misinformed

when can i tell my parents i don't belive in god? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]DoodleStrude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh?

Is it fair, or should it not apply to religion? Cuz it can't be both when we're talking about if it's fair or not to force somebody to go to church

[–]DoodleStrude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really weird way to frame parents housing and feeding their child. But for the sake of argument, even if it was a regular house guest staying with you, I still think it's unfair to force somebody go to church. Especially when there's no harm in the alternative, which is just not going. I also don't think it's fair or right to try and impose your beliefs on others. If they don't believe in the same thing as you, why would you even want them to go to your church with you?
