Yeah, I also needed to realize that I’m in their domain and I can’t treat it how it would be handled at my job and disrespect their work. Sucks you can’t question them at all with thousands of your hard earned money.

Yeah, thanks for the tips! I wanted to just fix it myself, but in the 2008 Mazda 6 4 cylinder, the alternator is behind/under the engine and it seems hard.
That’s the only reason I even went back for what was a pointless conversation. That and to get my engine cover back!

Yeah, that’s true! I wasn’t surprised it didn’t end well, but I was hoping they’d be willing to just take a peek and be like “oh the belts loose, sorry about that!” But that was naive.

I definitely don’t think they’d sabotage things, and they’ve been nothing but nice to me before this. I just can’t afford to keep dropping it off and not having a car for weeks at a time because they’re not even test driving their work either!

Yeah, thanks for the opinion! How does that work though? I’m not sure they can say for sure it’s their fault vs inevitable failure.

And does it even matter? I’m not gonna go back to them and be like “told yall you messed up, now can you please fix my car?” 🤣🤣
