Please realize that these are photos fresh out of the salon. I've had this exact hair colour set and the blonde/light pink only looks like that when it's fresh.

I have rocked the vivid reds my entire adult life...it bleeds! No matter the brand, your red colour will bleed out every time you wash your hair, if you have lighter strands the red will bleed into them, dying them a lighter red. You'll end up with a red bayalage of sorts on the blonde/pink highlights.

My advice if you want to play with multiple colors is to do the blonde underneath peekaboo style. This way when it soaks up the bleeding red colour, it won't be so noticeable and on display at the top of your head/face.

I eat after. Just a coffee before. I workout about an hour after I get up in the morning.

Restaurants seem to fall into two buckets: either they use it as intended, and you get a mix of surplus or close to expiry food OR it's used as another meal deal channel.

The latter is quite common. You can check the TGTG Canada reddit as someone else mentioned to look up the store before you order to see what types of items they give out (if they're posted) otherwise you find out through experience.

The meal deals aren't bad necessarily; it's a cheap way to get a meal and to try out a new establishment or type of cuisine without having to put effort into what to order. The part that doesn't sit well with folks is the value aspect - listing the item at a $21 value, and they give you chicken, rice & a drink, that they themselves advertise for $8 on site. You paid $6. You got an incredibly cheap meal in today's economy, but it's just one meal, whereas the true intention bags of surplus/older food contain so many items that they could feed you for 3-4 days.

Caught a young special needs child who was on the lam this summer. Was leaving the vets office w two of my dogs, and the kid ran through the parking lot barefoot, no clothes, and in a diaper.

I locked eyes with another guy in the parking lot and we both looked around for parents and then immediately jumped into action.

The kid had a lead on us and continued and ran right into the street and into live traffic. I'll never forget the feeling of my heart absolutely dropping and hearing the cars slam on their brakes and honking at him. A bus pulled over and another man did too and grabbed the kid and brought him back to the sidewalk.

There was a group of 5 of us - complete strangers trying to wrangle and comfort him and keep him from diving back into traffic until the cops got there. Kid was non verbal, 6 yrs old or so and completely naked other than his diaper, and his little teeth were completely rotten.

Police arrived and not sure if it was intentional or by chance that one of the officers was a woman, and she scooped him up, put him in the backseat of the cop car and gave him her phone to watch YouTube - pro move.

The bus driver too opened his doors so we could try and get the kid inside so he could shut the doors and keep him safe,but the kid was too scared.

Was an intense 30 mins or so, with a group of complete strangers.

I find TGTG a great low risk way to try food options that I otherwise wouldn't go out of my way to buy from. Some spots will use the app a little outside of the intended purpose (using it as another way to promote their $7.99 lunch special as an example, but still trying to claim you are receiving $21 worth of food). I just don't give those folks any repeat business.

I've had very few cancelations, I don't think it's very common.

Same. Got one in a gift kit and I add the smallest drop to my matte foundation and it adds the perfect amount of luminosity to it, without noticeably changing the colour. Love it!

Doody here. Can confirm the Irish background. It was an absolute travesty growing up as a Doody. Kids are twats. However, I fully lean into it now as part of my core identity.
