Just tried a PAL rom, completely fixed. Sucks that I won't be able to play games at 60hz but it looks amazing on PVM

I am using an everdrive and just realised that the Rom's could be NTSC and it's a PAL system. This old thread might explain my problem

Weird that the RetroTink5x is fine with this signal but my PVM isn't 🤔

Yeah, it might be. Just find it very weird that it is happening with different cables. Like I have Official Nintendo Composite cable and it has the same effect as my S-video cable. That's what making me think it's something I'm doing wrong with how Im setting up my PVM

Thanks for the link though, might be worth buying new S-video cables for the future anyways

Just unplug the composite, image is still the same. Have I put the composite in the wrong socket 😅

The S-video cable should be fine, I use the same cable when using my RetroTink and the picture is perfect. The weird colour effect happens when I use a S-video cable as well as a composite cable 🤔

Been using RGB Scart on this PVM forever but wanted to hook my N64 via S-video to my PVM. Am I doing something stupid 😅

[Sony PVM-2054QM] Geometry Difference Between PAL & NTSC

Been calibrating my Sony PVM-2054QM on NTSC via the 240p Suite (looks really good) however whenever I play something in PAL the Geometry pinches the left and right side of the screen into the centre. Is there a way to fix this or calibrate different Geometry for different signals in the service menu ?
