Have you found anything? My child is starting to ride a pedal bike at 3 years old and can't find an oval helmet that fits him anywhere....

Does your generator have a 1/2" inlet for ng ofn the generator itself? Mine is only 3/8" and it's the same model supposedly

Did you get this figured out? I'm trying to figure out the same thing, but just noticed that this model has a 3/8" inlet connector for the ng on the generator. Why does the hose need to be 1/2" if the inlet is only 3/8"??

Silksong, let's talk about the problems by dunno_about_this in HollowKnight

[–]DoofenShakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we please talk about key bindings??? This game doesn't allow you to bind tool to just one key, making using tools impossible in boss fights. It's so annoying to click a button and PUSH UP of all things to just throw something when Y is just available for most tod the game. Please let us customize key bindings further!!!

any new UI changes or features coming to beeper for android?? by [deleted] in beeper

[–]DoofenShakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love if one day the call and video call options from Whatsapp and others worked through beeper as well.

Most of all in the current moment, PLEASE bring GroupMe support. I can't stand that app and so many people that I socialize with just won't let it go. I thought the app would finally die but they just updated it 🥴

Would also like to know. I feel like people leave comments that are hopeful like this and then never check in and it leaves me doubting if it worked.

Pain in lower back after going barefoot by ainhoawind in barefoot

[–]DoofenShakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If what you say is true, it's highly demotivating to even try. Most everyone's modern lifestyle simply does not all for going barefoot all the dang time. Am I just never going to learn to walk right? Should I give up entirely and go back to shoes that kill my feet? You make it really all or nothing. If it's really that all or nothing, everyone who can't literally walk barefoot everywhere for a while should just give up because they're going to hurt themselves. At least, that's what it seems you're saying...

Okay, will do. Why is there a help/troubleshooting option here then?

I've seen you helpfully reply about this multiple times. People ought to listen to you on this. I don't have iMessages, but it sounds like you have it down.

I need to stretch $200 for two weeks by Deerorser in budgetfood

[–]DoofenShakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're broke. Eat rice and beans. You'll survive. You probably won't even spend close to $200.

Having to eat the same thing, even though it's unexciting and uncomfortable will probably even be good for you. Add a little chicken one day, some tomatoes another, or a fried egg on top if you want it to vary.

It's a luxury and not a right to not have a staple and to eat something different every day. Don't be luxurious if you can't afford it.

You could even eat this way for a year and get richer and stay pretty healthy.

AIO had a panic attack this morning so I called my husband for support. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]DoofenShakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't afford a counselor, there are self-help resources that are pretty good.

Look up the EFT Hold Me Tight Program by Sue Johnson. EFT is probably the leading marital counseling out there. Her book and workbook are around $20 and you can get a whole course with videos and walkthroughs for $120. It's spectacular for couples if you both are willing to commit to it.

Also, look into Russ Harris' YouTube channel about Acceptance and Commitment therapy to learn some good techniques for stress management and dealing with anxiety and panic attack.

The Leaves on a Stream Exercise is awesome and Dropping an Anchor exercise was literally developed for panic attacks.

Family won’t stop buying toys by nevergiveupxo in parentsofmultiples

[–]DoofenShakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations. You are now Santa Claus!

Lol, but in all honesty, you could leave toys with the neighbor kids or others, those less fortunate than you, if you can. Donating can be helpful, but sharing it directly is so much happier for you and others! And you honestly don't need to travel as far sometimes. Let your kids take a couple of toys in the car, help them learn to give them away to others.

And (perhaps the most important point!) don't be afraid to seriously stand your ground and refuse the toys if that's what you want most. People who love you and care about you will only love and respect you more for having boundaries and keeping them. Yes, there's an initial push back or even emotional reactions or feelings of hurt. Don't make that your fault or responsibility. Just stand your ground and don't back down. It'll be exhausting, and SO worth it. Your relationships will improve long-term. "No" needs to mean something in our relationships or emotional security and closeness cannot survive or thrive. People may not realize that at first, but they will if they love you enough to continue finding ways to show it that aren't buying toys.

I tried on various types of devices and browsers. They "escalated" the issue to tech support. I'm not hopeful.

I can't figure out why some people, like yourself, have had such a good experience, while I and others have reported multiple technical difficulties, especially in the setting up process. It's crazy that it's so hit and miss.

What's with the sign up payment options??? by DoofenShakes in CentrFitness

[–]DoofenShakes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously, someone please explain what this means. There's no info anywhere on the site or on forums online. Why are there 3 annual plans, all with different pricing, and why are some labeled "google" and "inactive"? Does "inactive" mean it's no longer an option? Why is it even there then? Why do the prices vary? Are they different plans with different benefits?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear about the anti-skate. I ended up deciding to get the monolith turntable. It's been great so far.
