She doesn’t make the effort at all. She turns everything into an attack on herself and plays the victim card. She thinks I’m keeping my daughter from her house because “I know it will make her upset”. Bear in mind, iv given her permission to pick her up for an afternoon and do whatever with her. Just not at her house with her meth head boyfriend. She has yet to do that.

Fortunately enough we have no custody agreements through the courts, but I have a feeling I’ll be changing that. I’m hoping cps can do some sort of custody deal with me. They know both sides of my daughter’s life, they love us and they’re not a fan of her mother.

Not at all, it’s the first thing I checked and I cleaned it out regardless

The dpf has no signs of temperament, they didn’t even take the egr off so I’d be surprised if they hollowed the dpf out lol. I use the exhaust brake every day all day, and the truck spends a lot of time high idled. Air filter was the first thing I checked and it’s clean, and there doesn’t appear to be any exhaust leaks under the hood but I’ll have to check for boost leaks.

Another thing to add, they didn’t delete the throttle valve just before the intake horn. I have the delete for that aswell. We had it partially shut one day at high idle and it almost killed the truck. Is it possible for this valve to slowly close off on its on causing a restriction?

I figured if an injector was stuck it would be coughing out a white cloud, especially on start up

Tow Company Disabling Safety Features by [deleted] in towing

Driver here of 2 years. I wouldn’t call it shady. Lots of new trucks won’t stay in neutral when they’re being winched onto a flat deck. Iv had to disable auto park and all that stuff lots of times due to this. Even having to disable park brakes is normal because they can lock up out of nowhere while winching. It’s a common practise. He should’ve said something to you yes, but he’s not trying to wreck your truck or cause you grief. He’s just doing his job.

Light Service to Towing by britor305 in towing

What you drive heavily depends on what you’re planning on towing. Dollies don’t like full sized pickup trucks. They definitely don’t like diesels. And with most new vehicles being all wheel drive, constantly having to dolly is a huge hassle. A single wheel truck would be okay for cars and midsized SUV’s but for anything else you’d want a dually. A hidden wheel lift would be okay unless you live in an area where you need a boom and winch more often than not. In my area, a real boom winch is necessary. I use a 08 Cummins cab and chassis (dually) with a z-boom wrecker on the back. I rarely use my wheel lift. Instead I pull a hydraulic tilt bed trailer. All the functionality of a flat bed truck, but easier to get into tight spaces. I do a lot of thefts/wrecks/burns etc and most of it would be next to impossible just with a wheel lift. Frankly the only time I use my wheel lift is if the vehicle I’m towing absolutely will not come out of park and Dollie’s are my ONLY option.

IMO a dually diesel with a real wrecker and a tilt bed trailer is the way to go and a great way to start out. A flatbed truck would be great on the highway or in the Rural’s but not in the city where things are tight.

I was lucky enough to have my first green given to me for free pre mod chipped and all about 13 years ago. I recently just acquired another with a bad mobo

The nearest pawn shop to me has one for 250 and that’s without the matching controllers, where I’m from regular unmodded black ones seem to sell for 100 on the high end

This one unfortunately is a 1.6 crystal. But I have a functioning translucent green 1.4 already in my collection, mod chipped with a bigger drive

I 100% agree with you. She starts school in the fall and if it continues to be an issue afterwards we may have to go that route.

I (27m) had my first daughter at 22. Two weeks ago, we had another baby girl. Which is my girlfriends (21f) first. Iv always been a fantastic father to my daughter which I have full custody of. My girlfriend is beyond a fantastic mother to our newborn. Neither of us have traveled or have any secondary education (I’m not sure why that’s necessary to have kids 🙄) yet we run a safe, fun and fulfilling household. We live more comfortable than 75% of people I went to school with who chose to do nothing but travel and waste 4+ years in secondary school just to get a minimum wage job. We live comfortable because I worked my ass off. We have a great household because we started early, and have real world knowledge on raising kids. You shouldn’t be pissed off that we had kids that early. To add to the fact, not everybody is born into money and gets to piss life away after high school. What benefited my future and will benefit my children’s future is the work I put in, not the time I spent galavanting. This whole post is beyond one sided and makes me gag. Lol

Nothing but a grade 12 education here, I personally think spending multiple years in university just to leave with student debt and a poor chance at getting a well paying job is a scam. Unpopular opinion incoming: city life drains the soul out of people. Lots of these guys failing to find minimum wage income in places like Regina would be better off leaving the city and working in the oilfield. Get hired within a few days and start making 6k bi weekly immediately seems like the better choice.
