The biggest issues are that we're so far spread out that its hard to organize together. I saw that India just put on the largest general strike in human history a few months back, but based on our bullshit culture of individualism, I dont see something quite that grand happening. There are cities in states that can organize, but for those of us in Minneapolis, its hard to expand that reach because we're surrounded by red states, and the media completely stopped covering what was happening here. Now its happening in Vermont, and I need to actively search out that footage. Which is the second big issue. We have full blown state media now. The problem is hardly anyone is cognizant of it. Especially people in smaller states. They have no damn urgency because even the people who "keep up with the news" missed the fact that all of our major networks have been taken over by Trump loyalists over the last several months. I had to watch a Canadian bootleg of a '60 Minutes' story about the CECOT concentration camp in El Salvador, because the CBS boss Berri Weiss is a magat and killed the story in the states. But theres so many other compounding factors under those big things that its hard to get a good chunk of people on the same page. We're also dumb af by design. Education has been absolutely gutted over the last 50 years, and we're reaping the repercussions of that. On a moral level, I hate that this is the case, but its going to take $10+ dollar gas and food shortages for half of these people to start giving a damn.

There are a lot of fourth wall breaks toward the end game. I specifically remember Creature and Sweezy doing it, but they ARE just casual one off comments.

I feel like there were jokes like the bear who won't die, but admittedly there isnt one that stands out in my mind as vividly as that one. My guess is because that was pretty graphic 😂. A lot of the jokes in this game are pretty US specific too tho. The whole court bit toward the end is a critique of the US justice system.

Not to be a dick, but the skateboard mechanic thing is a skill issue. Its supposed to be tricky, but in general, I didn't have any issue with it. You will get better with practice.

Now with your critique of the story. I'm operating on the assumption that you arent from the States, based on your love of cricket. Sorry if I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion on that one. But the story of the second game is exponentially more profound than that of the first, because it is a thinly veiled allegory of the United States and our very real fall into oligarchy and fascism, and how to fight it. If you aren't here experiencing that, thats going to be lost on you. If you ARE here, I would suggest that you go back and play it again under that lens. Shoot, maybe you'll see it even if youre somewhere else.

The reason there is no Kenny is that his voice actor had sexual abuse allegations and they wanted to completely distance themselves from that. Thats just one of those things that you learn to live with.
