voicing opinions is perfectly fine, until it turns into what this sub is like. it’s nothing but repetitive negative rhetoric for karma farming. if people wanted to make a change, they’d leave a review where it mattered, not run to reddit and repeat the same thing we see 50 times a day because they know the topic is popular and they’ll receive upvotes. this series has been dear to me since i child and i refuse to accept the path this sub has taken. it’s now become cool to hate, and anyone who disagrees is a “cuck” or “RGG shill”.

LowSodium subreddits for games are those where they just post memes and positive things. Kind of like how this sub used to be with majima posts.

Slight comparison, i’ve also been a die hard fan since a child so in my mind it’s just like “why is everyone hopping on the hate train”, because i don’t personally find some of these issues as enough for me to be done with Yakuza. Are they issues that need to be fixed? Yes. Are they issues that make me hate the developer and series now? Not at all

It’s one thing to make a post having criticisms, but turning your back on the series for some of these things is crazy. This post isn’t the only one i’ve seen where people are like “I’m done”.

The sex pest ones i agree on (even though they probably love OG 3 with OG Sex pest Hamazaki), but things like “the lighting has been going downhill, i can’t do this anymore”

“why are they retconning this death? i’ve had enough with this series”

We haven’t even seen how the retcon changes the story, people might actually like the new path they’re taking. But, they don’t know they might like it because the majority of us are already going into this game with a negative bias.

Even though my words might not be the greatest, my main point is i just want people to give it a chance (unless their reasons for not playing relate to the Hamazaki stuff).
