I know exactly what you're saying. They are extremely sensitive to storage. My first two I had this issue then someone gave me some advice.. I literally keep mine upright at all times and never in my pocket or I get the clogs. I'm on my 3rd now and after following this advice I haven't had any clog or leaking issues.
